Hey, I have a PC and I wanted to download a free trial of sims 3 on it. Does anyone know where I can find a reliable sight to get a free trial?

There aren’t any trials of The Sims 3. There weren’t any for any of the older Sims either. They just don’t make them, however they do have a lot of Videos that show new features and what not.

I am like always on Yahoo Answers.. .. I LOVE IT! I’m addicted to them!
The new features in this program have sold me on the upgrade. Lots of bang for the buck. I just completed a trial of both this and photo shop. Both are great but this is my choice The learning curve is much quicker giving me more time to work on my photography. The installation was easy and the programs worked as described. I am using Vista with 4 gb of ram and the processing is very quick. Yes I am a Amateur but I still love taking pictures and doing the best I can.

I just looked at yahoo answers and there are lots and lost of questions.
I searched for a question “How to convert VHS tapes to DVD?” ,not bad , found an answer explaining how it can bo done using DVD writer or also said for small quantity goto local video shop for better price. Not bad at all – not that we cant find the same information googling but still answer was concise and more accutate/
For an average Joe, a direct answer is thousand times better than searching – making answers another buzz space. I think they are definately taking advantage of their largest user base and making them participate in the answers.They already have 30 million answers,imagine in next couple years this could be billion or whaterver, huge huge number of answers, vast content. There may be cluttering,duplicate issues but I think they will figure out a way to solve them as more and more content arrives. May be they will use the community to solve the issues like – users marking “duplicate entery” etc.,
With API, number of answers increase at even faster pace.
I think yahoo is responding well to google's dominance by focusing on the social search, and morphing all these tools to suit to that.

Well, I do think that free trials are good, its just the method of pushing a customer into a free trial that is no longer working, simply because you cant take a virtual piss anymore without wetting a SaaS vendor offering a free trial. customers cant be expected to run 6 free trials in parallel. they need good info before, info that makes them believe that this software is right for them, and then the free trial will work its magic.

I was wondering this too, as I had the same reaction. The gameplay features were what I was looking forward to the most. Unfortunately, Ubisoft screwed us. The new features are a dice game at the merc headquarters, and the silly little puzzles that you had to do to put the map together.
I was hoping for new weapons or something…at least a new set of armor from the templar lairs.

Yes, always thought that video game addiction is more of a symptom of addictive personalities. I love games and yet only played WoW for about a month. Whereas, a friend of mine (Whom I gave a free trial to *gulp*) played for a period of 5 months where he would often stay up for two to three days playing non-stop on a diet of mainly bird seeds… And it was pretty much the first game ever played. He would tell you that WoW was not the problem but more a tool for his problems.
