How much does it cost to get a garage door repaired?
Extension springs (1 broken) all other parts look intact but need to be put back together. Live in Philadelphia, PA. No garage door opener. Metal door. Just want some average prices to see whether on not it’s worth it for me to get estimates and repairs since I hardly use the garage.

But your description leaves me wondering if the rest of the door/hardware is assembled? I had new torsion springs put on a while back and it was $75 which I thought was quite cheap. Your springs are even easier to install and if that’s all you need it should be worth doing. If the whole door need assembly I’d expect about $150-200.00

P.S. Make sure they put in safety cables, a cable that’s strung through the spring incase/when the spring breaks it keeps the spring from launching across the garage.
